I took our team to an indoor archery range on our Friday offsite.
I’ve never tried it before but I found it to be a lot of fun and surprisingly easy to pick up. It’s a bit like chess. It’s simple to learn the basic mechanics but its tough to master. We had a good three hour session where we each got to fire off close to fifty arrows. By the end of it, my arm was pretty sore. Somewhere amongst those wayward shots, I managed to hit the bullseye a couple of times.
I took a few photos from the day but they all look weird because none of them have any actual arrows. Just us holding bows. Which is probably a good thing. Definitely the safe thing.
