So Electronics Boutique called up Jen today to let her know that Gears shipped early and arrived today instead of Thursday. So she took half an hour off her lunchbreak at work so she could finish early and take a bus to the shopping mall before it closed to get the game for me.
Then she served up a delicious pork ‘n’ baked potato dinner before asking me to get her something from the pantry where I’d go and find the game waiting for me as a surprise.
She actually managed to get me a copy of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas really early too when it came out a couple of years ago and I remember she just left that casually in the PS2 for me to find when I got home from work.Also the last couple of games I played, Phoenix Wright and Dead Rising, she bought both of them too as surprise gifts.I’m a lucky, lucky bastard. I heart Jen. She’s the best girlfriend ever.Incidentally, Gears of War is fucking awesome too. It’s going to be a long day at work tomorrow.
