I can still remember getting a BluRay player about five years ago and thinking ‘Lord of the Rings will probably look really sweet in high definition.’
Well, it took nearly half a decade for the definitive Extended Edition to get released but here it is at last. I watched Fellowship of the Ring tonight with Jen and it was fantastic. The quality of the video transfer is exceptional the film itself holds up nicely (I can’t believe its ten years old already). I just wish one day Sean Bean would appear in a role where he doesn’t die at the end.
