The Roar faced a tricky midweek roadtrip to EnergyAustralia Stadium to play a resurgent Newcastle Jets on a humid Wednesday night in New South Wales. Although the Jets currently sit bottom the table, they have recently found their form and over the past weekend they made short work of Adelaide United, crushing them 3-0.
