Hacked Kinect can be used as 3D video camera

I thought this was pretty cool.  Some dude has already hacked his Kinect and turned it into a three dimensional camera that can maneuvered in real time ala The Matrix camera effect.  I think it’ll be interesting to see what else can be done with this technology and how it develops in future iterations.  I think the best thing Microsoft could do is run with it and make the 3D video recording an actual feature and selling point.
