Reserve

On Tuesday I attended a wine dinner at Reserve Restaurant.  Situated in the Milton dining precinct, Reserve is based in an old world terraced building that is over 100 years old and has been home to such luminaries as General MacArthur back in the day.  If those walls could talk they’d have a lot of colourful stories.

Reserve is something of a dining institution in Brisbane and it offers an appealing combination of impeccably prepared fine dining and quality service.  The night I attended was supported by Cape Grim who provided some incredible cuts of beef tenderloin and Huon Aquaculture who provided the salmon.  The matching wines from McWilliams were magnificent with the Mt Pleasant Semillon a highlight.
