Autumnal

I was reading through my usual online daily reads and read about The Pioneer Woman’s visit to the Bonnie Hunt Show.

For the first time all year I actually felt a small twinge of missing the TV industry. But only a smidgeon of a twinge. I don’t miss the long hours, forgetting the fact that you actually had a life outside of work, the drama and stress over something minute and ridiculous, the egos, the lingo, the gossip, the stereotypes, or the insane people you meet along the way.

I like that my team are a bunch of grizzlies, that its best to avoid walking past certain areas before morning clear out, the stories of some of the animals that come here, that I can get a hot chocolate for 40p, that we have use of the green buggies, that I get to know everyone who works here because  we are Facilities and we are all up in yo bizness. PUPPIES AND KITTENS. You can’t top that reason to be honest.

I have many woolly hats, hooray for Autumn chill.
